Nimet Kıraç

imet Kirac is an independent journalist. She has reported for Gazete Oksijen from all over Turkey and many hotspots around the world such as Syria, Afghanistan, Palestine, Israel, Lebanon, Ukraine, Russia, Pakistan, Poland, Greece and more. She spent years in Turkey as a reporter for the New York Times, reporting on investigative stories, features and breaking news. Her news articles, photographs and videos have appeared in international media outlets such as the Financial Times, CNN International, Al Jazeera, Al Monitor and Euronews. She writes and produces documentaries on human, animal and environmental rights from a sociopolitical perspective. She’s a graduate of George Washington University.
